Deloitte & Touche provides non-attest market offerings to health sciences organizations including: Finance Operations & Controls Transformation (e.g., revenue cycle, health care finance and reimbursement services, contract risk and compliance), Governance Regulatory & Risk Strategies (e.g., regulatory and compliance services), Internal Audit Transformation and others.
Sound finance, regulatory and compliance practices may translate into more efficient, cost-effective, and transparent operations, demonstrating credibility to regulators, investors and analysts. Sweeping regulatory mandates, such as Sarbanes-Oxley or American Recovery and Reinvestment Act, complicate matters by adding to the complexity already created by industry-specific regulations like CMS/Medicare regulations.

Our health sciences consulting teams work closely with senior executives to assist them with their most pressing business issues.
We are seeking qualified health care provider consulting practitioners for our revenue cycle, health care finance and reimbursement, regulatory and compliance related market offerings. The candidates will join our team in the Chicago, Boston, New York, Washington DC, Richmond, Cleveland, Miami, Charlotte, St. Louis and Costa Mesa offices.
* BA/BS in Health Information Management, Nursing, Business or Accounting (MS/MA/MBA degree is a plus) MBA/MS/MA degree is plus * 2+ years related health sciences industry experience required * Prior public accounting or consulting experience is preferred * Proficiency in MS office products, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint is required * Strong verbal and written communication skills * Strong technical and organization skills * Analytical and detail oriented * Team oriented * Ability and willingness to travel 75%
Responsibilities include:
* Contribute to a strong client relationship through interactions with client personnel * Demonstrate knowledge in some areas of industry or functional specialty * Contribute to engagement planning and ensuring that products/deliverables meet contract/workplan * Deliver services that meet Deloitte & Touche LLP task leader specifications * Writing of various reports related to engagements * Contribute to a positive team attitude
