Information Management (IM): Plan, design, and implement solutions that deliver and analyze information efficiently for competitive advantage
Essential Functions:
* Sr. Consultants function as integrators between business needs and technology solutions, helping to create technology solutions to meet clients' business needs. * Sr. Consultants perform accurate analysis and effective diagnosis of client issues and manage day-to-day client relationships at peer client levels. * Sr. Consultants gain exposure to multiple industries and service lines within the practice while demonstrating an awareness of the full breadth of services offered by engagement follow-on opportunities. * Responsibilities include, among others, defining systems strategy, developing system requirements, designing and prototyping, over-seeing developers, testing, training, defining support procedures and implementation, identify business requirements, requirements management, functional design, prototyping, process design (including scenario design, flow mapping). * An ATG Developer will have thorough knowledge of functional and technical capabilities of the ATG product suite.
ATG Developers are required to have:
* 3+ years of relevant technology consulting or industry experience * Bachelors Degree or 4 years equivalent professional experience * Willingness to travel to client locations (80%) * Participated in ATG vendor training (ATG-certified preferred) * 2+ years of experience with ATG eCommerce technical design and implementation for eCommerce customer and internally facing solutions (B2B, B2C, B2E) * Experience conceptualizing, designing, and building industry based ATG's product suite * Experience working on ATG technical design and implementation services * A key understanding of several core technologies like Java, J2EE, EJB, JSP, Oracle, SQL, HTML, and XML is essential.
In addition, successful ATG Developers will also have the following preferred skills:
* Content Management design and implementation experience * Strong understanding of SDLC methodologies (RUP, Agile, CMMI, other) * Strong business process knowledge, specifically pricing, order management, eCommerce, availability, settlement, customer service, account management, and fulfillment * Leadership in the design and implementation of OO and MVC based solutions * J2EE and Java experience * eBusiness applications (BEA, IBM, ATG, Sterling Commerce, Comergent, BlueMartini, Escalate Retail, Oracle , SAP, other..) * Middleware application (BEA, IBM Websphere Commerce, webMethods, Tibco, Vitria, SeeBeyond, other..) * SDLC methodologies (RUP, Agile, CMMI, other) and tools associated with building customer facing eBusiness solutions * Experience with implementation of SOA and MVC design patterns * An advanced degree in the area of specialization * Ability to work independently, manage small engagements or parts of large engagements. * Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills (MS Visio, MS PowerPoint). * Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment. * Willingness to mentor junior staff. * An advanced degree in the area of specialization is preferred.
